Welcome! Thanks for visiting.
Who am I?
Mother, wife, organizer, dreamer, fitness enthusiast, runner, nutrition nerd, coffee and wine lover.
I love all things Madison and trying new places to play with my handsome husband and two sweet kiddos.
In a word, this blog is about finding balance. It’s about walking the line (or tightrope if you will) between crazy and something less than insane.
As a mother, I’m making it my mission to find balance and to not be a burned out person. Burnout occurs when you have overextended yourself in some way – be it at home, in a career, or even in a hobby. It makes us discontented. Irritable. Stressed. Tired. In a word….crabby.
I will share something with you. I struggle with clinical anxiety and depression. While I really dislike “labels,” I hope that in being up front about this will help those of you who struggle with this or who may know someone who does. I also am an ambitious goal setter, who is learning what achieving goals looks like with kids. I don’t yet know what I’m
“doing with my life,” but am every day becoming more OK with the fact that I don’t know the answer to that yet. In the meantime, I’m choosing to experience and enjoy life as much as possible while hopefully not losing my mind and hopefully in finding balance…
I’m choosing to find this balance and the joy that comes with it.
I hope that in sharing my experience, many of you will be able to relate. And maybe we can find what it means to walk that line.
